Özet

Çocuklar, toplumdaki en aciz bireyler olmaları nedeniyle bazı tıbbi uygulamalarda ve tıbbi çalışmalarda etik açıdan koruma altındadırlar. Yasal olarak 18 yaş altı her çocuk için yasal vasileri ve/veya ebeveynleri etik açıdan karar verme ve onaylama yetkisine sahiptir. Bununla birlikte özellikle adölesan dönemdeki çocukların karar verme yeteneği oldukça gelişmiş olduğu için onların da onamlarının alınması etik açıdan doğru bir yaklaşımdır. Diğer taraftan tüm çocuklarda tüm uygulamalar için ikna edici çalışmaların yapılması olumlu olur. Bu makalede çocuklardaki etik kurallar tartışılmış olup, bazı durumlarda çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Children are the most vulnerable individuals in the society, therefore they are protected ethically for some medical practices and medical studies. Legally, for every child under 18 years old, their legal guardians and/or parents have the authority to make ethical decisions and approves. However, since the decision-making ability of adolescent children is highly developed, the ethical approvation should be also obtained from them. On the other hand, in all children, the persuasive attempts fo all medical applications would be a positive approach. In this article, ethical rules for the children are discussed and solutions are offered in some cases.
